Whether he likes it or not doesn’t matter. One thing is for sure: Manhart’s tuner transformations are more for the extrovert in nature. This is also the case with this vehicle, which is based on the BMW X6 M, which is already not exactly discreet. Let us introduce you to this piece of work: the Manhart MHX6 700 WB.

The Manhart MHX6 700 WB based on the BMW X6 M :

There’s no doubt that the BMW X6 M Competition is already one of the most impressive models we’ll see on our roads in production: With a length of 4.94 meters, a width of 2.02 meters, a height of 1.69 meters and a fighting weight of just under 2.4 tons, the 625 hp / 750 Nm F96 belongs to the absolute top class of powerful SUV coupes.

But Manhart sent the X6 M Competition to the gym, where it visibly and noticeably trained its muscle packs. The result is a high-weight athlete known as the Manhart MHX6 700 WB: Wide Body WB is short for widebody and refers to a wide body kit consisting of 24 pieces of forged carbon with a fiber structure whose irregularity is almost reminiscent of marble or polished granite.

Manhart MHX6 700 WB (base BMW X6 M) :

This includes a front spoiler, radiator grille, two-piece rear spoiler, rear diffuser, side skirts, multi-piece fender extensions as well as exterior mirror housings and other forged carbon parts.

In addition, the Manhart tuner combined a hood also made of forged carbon on the MHX6 700 Wide Body project car, which highlights its fiber structure over clearly painted air vents. The rest of the body is covered in a full “Matte Charcoal Metallic” wrap with contrasting gloss black Manhart decals.

To match, Manhart Concave One double-spoke forged wheels in satin black spin into the voluminous, wide-set wheel wells. Installed in XXL sizes of 10.5×22 at the front and even 11.5×22 inches at the rear, the Manhart wheels carry high-performance tires in sizes 295/30R22 and 315/30R22.

Manhart MHX6 700 WB (based on the BMW X6 M) :

Manhart engineers have reduced the high factory ground clearance of the X6 M by about 30 millimeters through an internal suspension optimization, the core elements of which are lowering springs from H&R. The suspension is then lowered by another 30 millimeters.

Along with the muscle work, Manhart Performance has increased the power of the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine from the factory’s 625 hp and 750 Nm to 730 hp and 900 Nm. This is achieved by using an MHtronik auxiliary control unit or by remapping the ECU.

The potential customer of the MHX6 700 WB is spoilt for choice when it comes to the four 100 millimeter Manhart stainless steel exhaust outlets, including the flap function, with ceramic coating or carbon coating. The Manhart Race downpipes without catalytic converter as well as the OPF-Delete and OPF/GPF-Deleter replacement pipes are also available as options (without approval, for export only). Goodbye to the particle filter!

The braking system remained standard on the vehicle pictured with the exception of an individual Manhart design for the multi-piston calipers. Individually configurable upgrades are available from Manhart upon request.

In line with the exterior design, Manhart Performance has also continued the unique and exclusive forged carbon refinement in the interior: a twelve-piece forged carbon interior kit sets innovative accents. The high-tech, short-fiber, irregular fabric adorns the dashboard, center console and door panels, as well as the spokes and shift paddles of the M Sport steering wheel. Forged carbon is also used extensively on the two-piece backrest shells and console trim of the sport seats.

Manhart is offering customers a tune that increases the power of the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 to 730 horsepower (544 kilowatts). For customers outside the European Union ( exports) , you can also opt for a full exhaust system that removes catalytic converters and gasoline particulate filters to improve exhaust sound and increase performance. As for the suspension, Manhart offers lowering springs to lower the ride height by 30mm and wider forged wheels for better grip.

The most surprising change on the Manhart MHX6 700 WB is the exterior bodywork thanks to Manhart’s 24-piece forged carbon fiber wide body kit and interior of . This unique body kit uses forged carbon fiber which is an attractive alternative to traditional woven carbon fiber. The body kit also includes a forged carbon fiber grille, rear spoiler, rear diffuser, mirror caps and side skirts.

Manhart continues the use of forged carbon fiber in the interior with its forged carbon interior parts package. The steering wheel is now made of forged carbon and the seats even have forged carbon inserts.
