Porsche 992 Stinger GTR Limited Carbon Edition Sweet As Swiss Chocolate

There are cars with masterful and recognizable lines. These curves are so perfect that they have hardly changed since their release, as in the case of the Porsche 911. The engineers of the Russian tuner Topcar Design endowed the Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S with an all-carbon fiber body and matching interior accessories. The name Porsche 992 Stinger GTR Limited Carbon edition By TopCar Design .The price? A six-figure price tag!

Details of the Porsche 992 Stinger GTR Limited Carbon Edition

To give the rear-engine sports car a distinctive visual touch, Topcar’s engineers put in a lot of effort. The exterior kit alone consists of 84 parts, so the term “Bodykit” is certainly too simplistic. In reality, it is a complete carbon fiber body.

In addition to the obvious elements like new spoilers, air intakes or bumpers, the Russians also replace the original hoods, fenders and doors of the Porsche 992 Turbo (S) with four-layer exposed carbon equivalents. Even the roof and its pillars give way to new parts made of the lightweight material.
100,000 Euros , CHF 197.800 for the carbon bodywork

Remarkable rims

To complete the package, the seventh Stinger GTR Carbon Edition has been fitted with a set of particularly spectacular wheels: They feature a ten-pointed star, but the outer part is framed by an even thinner ring. They are also equipped with a central lock. The brown finish matches the look of the bodywork perfectly. The dimensions are 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear. Accordingly, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires measure 265/30 ZR21 and 335/25 ZR22.

Refined interior finish

Even though the all-carbon body kit is already a six-figure sum, that’s not all the Porsche 992 Stinger GTR Limited Carbon edition By TopCar Design has to offer:

TopCar’s Russian engineers have also equipped the car with a highly finished interior. Many carbon components were also used. In addition, the equipment has been completely revised with two-tone leather.

And to make the 911 Turbo S as Stinger GTR sound even more powerful and unique, there is a new exhaust system. Several variants from different manufacturers are available we can mention Akrapovic or the tuner and specialist Kline innovation .

Porsche 992 Stinger GTR Limited Carbon edition By TopCar Design Lots of color and carbon inside too

If the “GTR 3.0 Specter” package is fitted, its color can of course be used to great effect in the interior. On the vehicle in the photo, Topcar really didn’t skimp on the chocolate brown accents on the dashboard, front and rear seats or the inside of the doors.

The tone appears not only on the large surfaces, but also in the form of embroidered seams or logos on the headrests. Added to this are details such as the loops that allow the seats in the first row to fold forward or the accent line that runs from the top edge of the dashboard through the door jams to the rear.

Topcar Porsche 911 (992) Stinger GTR 3.0 Specter Resolutely Carbon Fiber

The carbon fiber body of the Porsche 992 Stinger GTR Limited Carbon Edition includes no less than 84 parts. They are all made up of four layers of carbon fiber one external, one internal and two structural – and wrap the entire car. As a result, the cost of the upgrade amounts to 100,000 euros.

This price includes the body trim, but not the RS Edition forged wheels with a diameter of 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. They cost 8,000 euros. Rounding out the package is the Kline-innovation titanium exhaust with black tips, which adds 10,000 euros to the final bill.

The “GTR 3.0 Specter” package also gives the exclusive sports car a colorful accent.

This would almost double the price of the standard car (a Porsche 911 Turbo currently costs 189,176 euros, CHF 282,000 including VAT). But it is possible to do even better, even if the amount is still unknown.

The measures described above can indeed be supplemented by the “GTR 3.0 Specter” package. On the outside, this means that the carbon surfaces are pre-treated by Topcar so that they can be painted with the decor and color of your choice. The car pictured, with its yellow accents on the spoilers, hoods, roof and rocker panels, is just one example.

The remaining 25,000 euros are for the optional carbon fiber paint. However, you won’t see any mechanical changes. For example, the twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine retains its 650 hp (478 kW) and 800 Nm of peak torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed PDK transmission.

Each of the up to 25 Specter cars will stand out from the other representatives of the small series in color and fit.

3.8-liter turbocharged six-cylinder,

For now, there is no word on a power increase for the 3.8-liter turbocharged six-cylinder, which delivers 580 hp and 750 newton meters maximum on the 992 Turbo and 650 hp and 800 newton meters maximum on the Turbo S.

In addition, the Russian tuner’s engineers have not yet revealed whether they also plan to make changes to the chassis or brakes. But if we refer to Topcar’s previous projects, we can suspect that there is still work to be done for the development of this masterpeace.

A striking brown carbon

Obviously, more than half of the latter series is already sold out: the example unveiled here is indeed number 7/13. Of course, the Stinger GTR is still recognizable as a 911 from the start. But it has been equipped with an extremely complete body kit.

TopCar explains that this car is the most ambitious project in the russian company’s history: 100 percent of the body surface has been modified.

We are sure that they will not be the last.

Russian tuners only know how to make heavily transformed G-Klasses? Far from it! The portfolio of the Topcar tuner, at least, includes a much wider range. Of course, the classic Mercedes off-roader is also modified by the Muscovites in a wide range of ways.

But Topcar has also dealt with supercars like the McLaren 720S or fast Gran Turismos to the four-door Mercedes-AMG GT and Porsche Panamera. Recently, a program for the Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S of the current 992 generation has also been added to the project list.

If you are looking for a unique and exclusive Porsche 911 Turbo S, start preparing more than 138,000 euros. We can say it, it’s one hell of a diamond in the rough!

We can’t really say that the Porsche 91 Turbo S is a problematic car because we come across it too often. But of course it is always possible to be a little more exclusive – or even very exclusive. The Russian tuning team TopCar Design proves it again.

As is well known, it specializes in high-end finishing of various luxury and sports cars, where carbon always plays an essential role. A few months ago, TopCar unveiled the latest incarnation of the Stinger GTR, based on the current Porsche 911 Turbo S.

While this one is already limited to 25 units, it has an even more exclusive binomial, which will be built in only 13 units: the Stinger GTR Carbon Edition.

There are cars with masterful and recognizable lines. These curves are so perfect that they have hardly changed since their release, as in the case of the Porsche 911.

The 911 is perhaps one of Porsche’s most recognizable icons and this Porsche 992 Stinger GTR Limited Carbon Edition is brutal.

While some may protest against this excessive continuity, one thing is clear in the business world: if something works, don’t change it, optimize it. Porsche has “recently” presented us the new generation of the 992 Turbo S, and the iconic Russian tuner TopCar Design is back with one of its craziest projects in which carbon fiber is the protagonist.
