MANHART ER 800,Mercedes-AMG E63 S with 800 HP & 1070 Nm

When one thinks of Manhart’s creations, most tuning and custom enthusiasts probably think first of the refined, custom BMW models. Therefore, when many petrolheads think of an optimized, unique and high-performance sedan in the luxury class from Manhart, they naturally assume that the basis is an M5 CS. But at Manhart the engineers can also do things differently! That’s why we are presenting the MANHART ER 800 today. The basis of this high-end sports car, limited to five units, is the competitor of the BMW M5, the Mercedes-AMG E 63 and E 63 S, respectively.

Manhart adjusts and brings the Manhart ER 800

Is it always necessary to do more? Often, yes and with Manhart, sometimes is often is synonymous with always. The latest Mercedes creation is based on the high-performance luxury sedan from Mercedes Benz AMG … the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S.

ENGINE :

The basis for this high-end sports car, limited to five copies, is therefore the V8 of the Mercedes-AMG E-Class.  The AMG version of the E-Class already develops 571 hp (E 63) or 612 hp (E 63 S) in standard version. This far from low output is not only a good starting point to a significantly higher output: as the new vehicle designation already indicates, the four-liter twin-turbo V8 of the AMG version receives a considerable power increase to an impressive 809 hp and a maximum torque of 1,070 Nm. This is achieved by upgrading the MANHART turbo, a MANHART intercooler, a MANHART carbon intake and a remapping of the MANHART ECU.

Manhart ER800 model designation already indicates that these performances will not be enough. The four-liter engine is increased to more than 800 hp. 809 hp, to be precise. To this is added a torque of 1,070 Newton-meters.

EXHAUST :

This is achieved by improving the turbo, a new intercooler, a carbon intake and an ECU remap. To improve the exhaust system, there are also additional sport exhaust pipes with 300-cell catalytic converters, which are not homologated, however, and are therefore only intended for export.

MANHART Ceramic Brake Kit :

To ensure that the Manhart ER 800 can not only accelerate much faster than the basic E 63 S (Manhart does not give any figures, by the way), but also stop even faster, Manhart installs a ceramic brake kit with 405×38 mm discs on the front axle of the ER 800.

MANHART Lowering Standard Air Suspension :

Factory air suspension can be lowered by 20 to 30 millimeters in two ways: either by using new connecting rods, as in the example shown, or by software adjustment.  To improve the exhaust system, there are also additional MANHART sport exhaust pipes with 300-cell catalytic converters, which are not approved and are therefore only intended for export

MANHART Classic Line Wheels in Silk Matt Black :

So that the ER 800 can not only accelerate much faster than the basic E 63 S, but also stop even faster, a carbon ceramic brake kit with 405×38 mm diameter discs on the front axle of the ER 800. Manhart has also improved the appearance, as usual: in the wheel arches are Classic Line wheels in the dimensions 9×21 and 10.5×21 inches with tires in 255/30 ZR21 and 295/25 ZR21.

EXTERIOR :

On the vehicle shown, they are finished in typical MANHART matte black on the side with gold decoration in the form of a decorative strip on the rim edge. However, other individual configurations are also possible on request. To harmonize, the ER 800 has a black front grille and, as is also the case with MANHART creations, a distinctive signature with gold decoration in the form of decorative stripes and lettering on the black-painted bodywork.
