The car is lowered a bit, more power is added, a spoiler here and there, a big exhaust and of course: (much) bigger rims. That’s why we were surprised when we came across this project from Darwin Pro Aerodynamics. These cabron specialists have modified an Audi RS6 Avant (C8).

The grateful child of the tuning industry

The latest Audi RS6 Avant is a grateful child of the tuning industry. Besides tuners like ABT and MTM, Mansory, for example, also has the necessary upgrades. What’s special about Darwin Pro is that they didn’t opt for larger rims.

Now we have to explain. The RS6s that we see at most tuners are always equipped with the optional 22-inch (forged!) wheels. This makes the car look like a “Donk” (an American trend that has never been adopted here). But at Darwin Pro, they’re fitting smaller rims. Instead of 22 inches, the new rims are only 21 inches.

It’s not subtle. Now, that’s not a problem, the current RS6 isn’t very subtle either. The kit includes a new splitter, hood (with slots), side skirts and not one, but two rear spoilers.
