• The Turbo Muffler Delete Racingline VWR160000 kit is composed of a CNC machined and anodized aluminum part, a hose and its clamps for an easy installation, in place of the original part.
• The MUFFLER, as its name indicates, is a silencer, allowing to limit the noise of aspiration or load of the turbo on the Genuine engine. This part is relatively restrictive and greatly reduces the airflow on our 2.0 TSI EA888 GEN4 engine of 245hp.
• Located at the turbo outlet and providing a junction between the turbo outlet and the hose that goes to the intercooler, installation is relatively easy and takes little time.

Characteristics of the Turbo muffler delete Racingline for Golf 8 GTI 2.0 TSI EA888 GEN4 (245hp) :

• The Tapered Turbo Muffler Deletion for 2.0 TSI EA888.4 245ps is an elegant and unique design combined with a larger diameter silicone connecting pipe that replaces the restrictive and power-damaging compressor outlet with a smooth, turbulence-free air path out of the turbo.
• The standard part is located at the compressor outlet of the turbo to reduce engine compartment acoustics, but adds disruptive turbulence to the airflow where you don’t want it.
• The stock part has an inner diameter of 38mm, while the RacingLine tapered design expands to 53mm, matching perfectly with the smooth 53mm silicone hose with an internal slope.
• By replacing the standard part with the removal of the turbo cone muffler and the silicone pipe, you replace this unwanted restriction with a smooth, uninterrupted air path developed by CFD.
• The result is a much better boost response, giving you a little more power and throttle response, while still being able to hear your turbo working.

• The Turbo Muffler Delete Racingline reference VWR160000, has been specially developed for the engine 2.0 TSI EA888 GEN4 of 245hp
• Also called “Turbo Outlet” or TAPERED TURBO MUFFLER DELETE, it allows to remove the silencer installed on the Garrett turbo.
• As with the previous generation engine, VAG vehicles are equipped with a muffler for greater comfort (less intake noise and turbo charging), but at the expense of performance.
• The 2.0 TSI EA888 GEN4 engine of 245hp (with its Garrett turbo) which equips the 2.0 TSI engine of the Golf 8 GTI, Audi A3, Leon Cupra and Octavia vRS can thus be freed from this silencer thanks to this MUFFLER DELETE.
