Prior Design is known to many car preparation and design enthusiasts. You may associate it with designing styling packages for very special cars.

Unusual, of course, since few people think of tuning these types of cars. We are thinking here, for example, of kits developed for the Dacia Duster or the Hyundai Tucson.

But this time Prior Design decided to create a pack for a car that is often modified. The choice was made for the Audi RS6 Avant C8.

The package looks quite aggressive, but at the same time there is no exaggeration. Perhaps this is also due to the unusual paint color used. Under the hood, it is unlikely that there are any changes. The driver of the standard Audi RS6 has 600 horsepower, produced by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. The sprint time from 0 to 100 km/h is 3.6 seconds

In addition to a McLaren 720S, an Audi RS Q8 and a Porsche Taycan Turbo, the Prior Design team also had another project for its flagship. It is the PD6RS aerodynamic kit / body kit for the Audi RS6 Avant (C8). And for once, this kit was not a widebody version. Because already the RS6 has powerful cheeks at the front and rear and an additional widening would probably look visually simply disproportionate. But even without the fender flares, the body kit for the RS6 is a true masterpeace. It starts with a powerful front spoiler that spans the entire width of the front apron and gives the RS6 a much sportier, dynamic and flowing appearance .

Completed the spoiler with new front frames for the apron air intakes and in addition there were two cupwings on each side. It continues with a two-part hood attachment, including vents and also installed were new side frames for air intakes in the wings. The side section was also highlighted with matching sill sabers and, of course, there were changes to the rear.

The most relevant element was clearly the powerful rear diffuser, but the cupwings on the sides of the rear apron, which were also installed, the small rear spoiler as well as the striking roof spoiler are also components that belong to the PD6RS aerodynamic kit. And in addition to the body kit, the RS6 also received a beautiful full PWF wrap, ideal for bringing out the color of the kit components painted in gloss black.

Forged wheels were also used

But that’s not all. Because a set of forged wheels from the house of Z-Performance Wheels had also been installed on the powerful RS 6. The wheel set, which we understand is either 22 or 23 inches in diameter, was also precisely fitted into the already wide wheel arches of the RS6 ex works due to a subtle lowering.
