To easily overcome various obstacles with low-ground clearance sports cars, KW introduces the Hydraulic Lift System (HLS).
Increase ground clearance at the touch of a button With the HLS system, you can swiftly elevate your sports car or lowered vehicle safely to navigate obstacles such as speed bumps, road undulations, level crossings, construction sites, and garage entrances, including underground parking lots.
Depending on the configuration of the installed HLS system, your vehicle can be hydraulically lifted either at the front axle or on both axles, up to 45 millimeters. This prevents damage to aerodynamic components, underbody protection, or even the oil pan.
The HLS system is available as a vehicle-specific solution or in combination with the KW suspension kit. If your vehicle is not part of our HLS range, our engineers have also developed a universal lifting system.

The lifting kit is available in two variants:
- “HLS 2” lifts only the front axle, while “HLS 4” lifts the entire vehicle. In the case of the “HLS 4” variant, a hydraulic cylinder is mounted between the suspension cup and the spring on each KW strut. A significant advantage of the hydraulic system is the absence of compression (movement) of the extended cylinder unit during driving, avoiding any unwanted additional suspension and preserving driving dynamics. The HLS lifting kit comes with a control unit connected to the vehicle’s onboard electronics. Consequently, above a certain speed, the vehicle is automatically lowered to the original height of the KW suspension or stock suspension.
