BMW M Performance Genuine Carbon Front Lip G8x M3 M4

The BMW M Performance Genuine Carbon Front Lip G8x M3 M4  accentuates the sporty and attractive look of the BMW M3 G80 or M4 G82 . It has been specially designed for the M3 Sedan G80 and the M4 Coupe G 82 and can be fitted even without the special carbon kit (SA71C).

• The front insert gives the vehicle a distinctive and characteristic front view.
• The M Performance exterior components feature optimal aerodynamics and enhance the sporty driving characteristics.
• The front cap has been tested, among other things, for pedestrian protection requirements. All legal requirements are thus fulfilled.
• The carbon components are made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) and are coated with a clear lacquer.
• The materials are UV and temperature resistant.
• The installation of the rear spoiler is not mandatory for the installation of the front insert, but only a combination of both products can achieve optimal driving performance.
• Installation should be performed in a temperature range of 18°C to 35°C.
• When installing exterior components with a liquid adhesive (e.g. Betalink 1K), the curing times of the adhesives used must be observed.
• As a rule, the vehicle should not be moved for 24 hours.
• The vehicle may only be washed in a car wash after 48 hours.
• All parts must be checked before being mounted on the vehicle.
• All bonding surfaces must be absolutely dry, clean, free of wax and grease.
• An ABE is not necessary, as the parts are already approved for the entire vehicle

BMW Warranty:

This is an original BMW carbon splitter with a two-year warranty. Buying an OEM part is usually more expensive than buying a stock or aftermarket part, but you can be assured that it meets BMW’s standards for fitment, performance and longevity. Material Information:

The carbon M kits are handcrafted. The cutting and draping of the fabric layers, the curing process of the plastic matrix and the milling of the raw parts takes several hours. The subsequent lacquering is a special challenge.

To enhance the unique depth effect of the carbon fabric, the parts are painted several times. Each coat of paint must be dried and then sanded. After the final coat of paint is applied, the carbon part is polished to a perfect shine.

The carbon fiber parts are manufactured according to the current BMW standards.

This is the only way to ensure that the high demands, for example, on ageing and temperature resistance are met without the paint cracking or peeling off the substrate and without yellowing of the matrix. This high degree of craftsmanship is the reason for the price.

The high-tech material carbon is characterized by a high degree of stiffness and rigidity while being extremely light. Therefore, carbon fiber is mainly used in many areas of motorsport, where the visible carbon components fascinate with their characteristic mesh structure.
