In the meantime, Porsche is putting a powerful naturally aspirated 4.0-liter engine from the Cup model into the new GT3 RS. Somewhat mellowed and adapted to everyday driving, the flat six develops 520 hp, 20 hp more than the “normal” Porsche 911 GT3. The 470 Nm of torque are available from 6000 rpm.

For all the manual transmission enthusiasts, the new 911 GT3 RS comes exclusively with PDK. With its 7 gears, the dual-clutch gearbox is more imposing and even heavy, but in terms of shift times essential for fast laps no manual gearbox can compete.

Racing feeling thanks to aerodynamics and motorsport engineering
There is no doubt that the genes of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS come from racing. The design of this engineering feat is partly reminiscent of a mixture of the GT3 and the Porsche 911 GT2 RS.
- The side skirts of the GT3 RS have only been slightly modified compared to the GT3. The rear spoiler loses its third strut like on the GT2 RS. The new spoiler is 6 cm higher than in the GT3.
- The air outlets on the front wings are defined. In order to clearly distinguish itself from the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, the GT3 RS has retro lettering along the rocker panels.
- The air intakes on the front hood are used for direct ventilation of the front brakes. This eliminates the need for bottom ventilation, allowing more downforce on the front axle.
- In harmony with the more powerful engine, Porsche has developed a chassis setup that, with its recalibrated rear axle steering, is designed for maximum dynamics and precision.
- The chassis, which incorporates engineering and motorsport characteristics, is intended to provide superior driving dynamics.
- The ball joints mounted on all steering arms offer greater precision than the usual elastocinematic bearings.
- Lightweight 20-inch wheels with newly developed 265/35 sport tires on the front axle enhance agility and handling, while lightweight 21-inch wheels with 325/30 tires on the rear axle provide the necessary traction.
Clubsport and Weissach packages to optimize the Porsche 911 GT3 RS
