Audi A1 Abt with 400 hp 1of1; two-tone , wide body kit

ABT Legacy from AB-R to Johann ABT Edition Signature ! With the A1 “10f1” Abt presents a unique A1 with 400 hp (294 kW) and a “free-standing” wide body kit with a spectacular racing design. A special optical effect is the unique “polygon split design”. The new design consists of polygonal fragments that literally break up the contours of the vehicle.

The independent wide elements, on the other hand, are equipped with polygons strictly arranged in formation, which gives them a particularly dynamic look.

Color transition

This is especially true for the right side of the car, which is predominantly red. The highlight of the split design is the color transition to the driver’s side. There, a matte black predominates, on which the polygonal pattern is only vaguely visible.

Racing look

The racing look is completed by a carbon rear spoiler, a highly fragmented carbon engine cover with several air intakes and 19-inch Abt ER-F forged wheels in matt black.

With their individually designed and internally mounted gold aerodynamic rings and central closing optics, the wheels are reminiscent of Formula E cars.

Audi most powerful 40 TFSI series engine

A stainless steel system with two 114-millimeter-diameter tubes and carbon end caps ensures the appropriate sound of the high-performance four-cylinder engine, which is more than twice as powerful as the current most powerful 40 TFSI series engine in the Audi A1. To further enhance performance, Daniel Abt’s team installed H&R suspension springs and fitted 265/30 R19 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires with red sidewalls.

The interior

The interior was fitted with a roll bar and almost entirely covered with Alcantara.

Daniel Abt equipped his heartland A1 with bucket seats and lots of alcantara. And with a roll bar taking the place of the rear seats, it’s definitely cut out for racing. After all, that’s where the man from the Allgäu comes from – even if he doesn’t have a roof over his head at work and the engine makes a much quieter tune.

ABT Legacy from AB-R to Johann ABT Edition Signature ! A superfluous project

400 hp engine from an Audi TT Cup race car .Abt Sportsline has doubled the power of the Audi A1 40 TFSI. Instead of 200, the data sheet now shows 400 hp. For this purpose, the original two-liter gasoline engine had to give way to another, already greatly improved 2.0 TFSI engine from a TT Cup race car. This is coupled with an S3 charge air exchanger and a stainless steel exhaust system, whose two 114-millimeter-diameter pipes were fitted with carbon covers by Abt.

who needs 400 HP in a small car?!

400 hp in a small front-wheel drive car is no longer a rarity. Neither are wider fenders or a completely stripped-down interior with a roll bar. However, the Audi A1 1 of 1 and the tuner ABT prove with this car the handcrafted and creative potential they have in them.

Endless pressure! First with the 500 hp ABT RS3-R

ABT gives the Audi RS 3 its R treatment. With its carbon body kit, the limited edition Hot Hatch goes even further with 500 hp and all-wheel drive!

With the RS3-R, tuner ABT has transplanted its fast letter, after the RS6-R and others, into Audi’s smallest RS. With a five-cylinder engine with 500 hp, a carbon body kit and a price tag of around 100,000 euros, the prepared Audi RS 3 is basically way ahead of the compact sports car class.

But that applies to both performance and driving pleasure!

Sharp color combination

ABT refines the already aggressively designed compact with some carbon parts. At the front, the RS3-R gets a spoiler blade and side flanges, at the rear a roof spoiler and a diffuser. There are also mirror caps and black covers behind the front wheel arches.

ABT RS3-R 500 hp & 600 Nm of torque

Bright green paint, huge black grille, carbon parts, 20-inch wheels: visually, the RS3-R makes a statement. Four 95 mm stainless steel flapper exhaust outlets protrude from the rear apron. With the 20-inch aluminum wheels and kyalam green paint, the prestige of passing is increased tenfold. Anyone who sees the poison dwarf with its nasty front end in the rearview mirror will inevitably step aside. Thanks to a larger charge air cooler and an additional ECU, Abt gives the engine 500 hp (+100 hp) and 600 Nm of torque (+100 Nm).

Optional carbon parts in the cockpit

In the cockpit, the changes are not significant. Carbon parts are available as an option for the seats, dashboard and paddles. But the standard equipment includes “only” embroidered logos in the seats, illuminated sill strips, floor mats, an ABT badge and a starter button.

Aside from the embroidery, the seats are standard. They are supportive, but at this price, we would have liked a little more customization. At idle, the RS3-R emits a rather quiet sound, even in “Dynamic” sport mode. After acceleration, the disillusionment about the muted sound disappears. The way the five-cylinder engine escapes from the sport exhaust system under load is breathtaking. Reddish, drumming, rough, with a raucous intake sound, that’s exactly how a five-cylinder should sound!

ABT RS3-R Great sound under load

Under load, the sport exhaust whistles more than enough when the flaps are open and makes you accelerate more often than necessary. The engine has extreme pressure . And then there’s the more-than-powerful thrust. The engine really hangs on the chain, pushing you to accelerate all the time. The way the RS3-R grips the asphalt with its all-wheel drive and propels itself forward is interesting. ABT claims 3.3 seconds instead of 3.8 for the 0-100 km/h sprint, which we believe without hesitation. Even intermediate sprints in high gears are an upgrade thanks to the juicy torque. Thanks to the ceramic brake, deceleration is also quite respectable, with consistent power and pedal travel.

ABT Ceramic brake

The ceramic brake on the front axle already convinced us on the production car and doesn’t bend on the RS3-R either.

Chassis too low

On the chassis side, instead of sport springs and anti-roll bars, an optional KW3 threaded chassis, adjustable in height and rebound/compression. ABT was generous in lowering the car.

Abt Audi RS7-R. Lord of the Rings.

The Audi RS7-R from Abt is reshuffling the deck in the field of sports hatchbacks. The powerful model from the Allgäu shakes the throne of the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid violently.

Sometimes race car drivers want to take themselves out of the game. Abt’s Audi RS7-R shows what that can look like. That’s because Daniel Abt, the company’s head of speed, designed it according to his wishes. Orange splashes can be found all over the car: on the front apron, at the rear and in the rims. The effect is further enhanced by the gray paint, which is decorated with a pattern. Another clue that this is no ordinary car can be found on the rocker panel: “1 of 125” is written there. So there are only 125 copies of this particular power monster, and for a price starting at 215,300 euros.

ABT Legacy from AB-R to Johann ABT Edition Signature ! The Abt Audi RS7 For a family picnic,

For this, you get everything that characterizes an Abt Audi flagship. This includes of course a portfolio of exposed carbon parts that give the car a dynamic presence. But the most harmonious sports outfit becomes a laughing stock if the Sprinter is just the sheep of the fold. But that’s not the case with Abt’s 720 horsepower machine. Quite the contrary.

The Lamborghini Aventador S has just as much steam under the hood. Of course, the Italian is much lighter than the powerhouse of the ABT specialists, and with 2.9 seconds to reach 100 km/h, it is only 0.3 seconds slower than the steroidal Audi sosu. As far as top speed is concerned, the RS7-R is 320 km/h, 30 km/h slower. So owners of such a Sant Agata Bolognese bull can breathe easy. However, Abt’s Audi takes the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid 0.2 seconds in the sprint and 10 km/h in the top speed.

For a family picnic, the Abt Audi RS7 is fast enough anyway. The ABT engine experts not only increase the power output by 103 kW / 140 hp compared to the factory Audi RS7, they also use tailor-made technical preparations and engineering measures, such as a more efficient charge air cooler, larger turbochargers and adapted engine management software.

Engineering design at a very high level

But horsepower and torque and mechanical artistry don’t just cancel out the laws of inertia. This also applies to the four-liter engine, which still doesn’t get all it can out of its eight pots below 2,500 rpm. But with a maximum torque of 920 Newton meters, this weakness at start-up is quite bearable.

When you see the pressure with which the Abt leaves other road users in the lurch, you know it’s engineering at a high level. Added to this is the brutal sound of the exhaust with its four powerful tailpipes, each with a diameter of ten centimeters.

ABT specialists also put agility on the map

ABT specialists also put agility on the map. “When upgrading, we pay particular attention to cornering behavior,” emphasizes technical director Armin Harlos.

To ensure this, the technicians install stronger stabilizer bars on both axles, readjust them and thus adapt them to the threaded chassis. These technical features pay off. Abt’s Audi RS7-R is made for country corners. The 2.1-ton car stays neutral for a long time and carves out every corner as if it were drawn with a chalk line.

The 22 inches grip the asphalt and help the all-wheel-drive system hoist that not inconsiderable mass into the corners. Only in tight, fast corners do the front wheels have to work harder to keep the power package in the lane.

The Audi steering, which is firm in “Dynamic” mode, does not react too violently from the center position and thus responds precisely to the driver’s steering commands. Inside, the typical Audi interior is present, which is certainly not a disadvantage. However, the interior specialists ABT also rely on carbon applications, moldings and decorative elements here, which suits the Audi RS7-R from Abt well.

Technical data of the Abt Audi RS7-R

Abt Audi RSQ8 Signature Edition , The Audi RS Q8 will be built in only 96 units and will cost more than 315,000 euros.

A RUV with more than 800 hp? No one needs it but everyone wants it, but it’s still impressive. The Audi RSQ8 Signature Edition from Abt will be built in only 96 units and costs more than 300,000 euros!

Is the 600 hp of the Audi RS Q8 just not enough? In that case, we have just the thing for you Abt Sportsline, Audi’s in-house specialist, is indeed presenting its latest project based on the already brachial RS Q8. After the 700 hp of the RSQ8-S and the 740 hp of the RSQ8-R, of which only 125 were built, the ABT engineers are moving up a gear. The 800 hp Abt RSQ8 Signature Edition will be built in only 96 units!

Abt Sportsline celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2021. Reason enough to present not only the limited edition RSQ8-R, but also the most exclusive model in the company’s history, the Abt RS6 Johann Abt Signature Edition, which was built in only 64 examples.

Now, the Audi specialist has launched its second “Signature Edition” model, the Abt RSQ8, with 96 examples planned in reference to the founding year 1896. A maximum of eight RSQ8 Signature Editions are expected to be handcrafted each month.

ABT Audi RSQ8 Signature Edition.

Powerfully wide cheeks: Thanks to the carbon body kit, the already not-so-slim Audi RS Q8 becomes even more brutal.

Let’s start with the design: since the Audi RS Q8 is already far from discreet when it leaves the factory and Abt Sportsline has already made good progress with its transformations on the RSQ8-S and RSQ8-R, the in-house designers had to use their imagination for the new special model.

In addition to a four-tailpipe exhaust system and special 23-inch wheels emblazoned with “Signature Edition,” the body kit (consisting of a front lip, front blades, grille boss, fender flares, side skirts, mirror caps, rear skirt boss, diffuser, roof edge spoiler and more) in a special coarse carbon structure (“Signature Carbon Bold”) is the visual highlight of the special model.

The V8 Biturbo with over 800 hp and 1000 Nm

It’s under the hood of the RUV that things get particularly interesting: from the four-liter twin-turbo V8, ABT specialists get more than 800 hp and 1000 Nm, which corresponds to 200 hp and 200 Nm more than the standard version. This extra power is achieved by special charge air coolers, larger turbochargers and adapted software, among other things.

The ABT flagship accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, 0.6 seconds faster than a normal RS Q8. Abt Sportsline claims a top speed of 315 km/h. Thus, the tuned RS Q8 even surpasses the Aston Martin DBX707, which reaches 310 km/h.

ABT Legacy from AB-R to Johann ABT Edition Signature ! ABT Audi RSQ8 Signature Edition

The interior design of the Audi RSQ8 Signature Edition by Abt features a refined mix of alcantara, leather and carbon.

But that’s not all. Inside the cabin, there is a refined mix of alcantara, leather and carbon, which is well known on the outside. The seats not only bear the inscription “Abt”, but also “RSQ8 Signature Edition”; and so that the driver does not forget that he is sitting in a very special Q8, limited to only 96 copies, there is a numbered plaque.

Such exclusivity! The complete vehicle costs more than 316,480 euros.

The conversion kit costs 139,900 euros, without the base. For the complete vehicle, ABT Audi RSQ8 Signature Edition are from 316,480 euros.
